Religion, faith, and beliefs shape every culture deeply and yet differently, and as followers of Jesus who have been entrusted with a message to share, it’s vitally important for us to consider these things.

Video Debrief and Group Discussion

After watching the video, take some time to debrief as a group. Use the following questions to guide your discussion. Encourage everyone to share their thoughts and listen respectfully to one another.

1. Which of the three worldview lenses (Guilt/Innocence, Shame/Honor, Fear/Power) do you most naturally identify with? How has that impacted how you read Scripture?
2. How was your understanding and love for the gospel enhanced by seeing its other dimensions?
3. What is a Bible story that might resonate especially well with someone from a shame/honor worldview? What about a fear/power worldview?

As a group, reflect on how these ideas can be applied to your daily lives and your collective mission.
