Discussion Questions: Have you ever been on a short-term mission trip? Share one memory from that trip and how that experience has affected your walk with the Lord. If you have never been overseas, you can share any cross-cultural experience you have had.

Activity Idea: As a group, use your phones to identify an ethnic restaurant, bakery, or cultural center within a 15-minute drive of your meeting location. Challenge the group to coordinate a collective visit this week, and commit to asking the staff or proprietor genuine questions about their home country or culture to practice “crossing the street” and initiating a friendly, cross-cultural relationship.
