**Step in **- Let’s focus and ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance:

Welcome to Week 3. We’ve seen God’s heart for His glory and His mission woven throughout Scripture. Now, we must face a disruptive truth: the task is not yet finished. Truth tends to be disruptive. It’s often uncomfortable. And it always requires a response. When you’re faced with truth, there are only two ways to handle it: you can receive it or reject it.

As we begin this third step, what would it be like if we approached this lesson with a posture of openness and humility before the Spirit of God? Are you willing to continue moving forward with a pre-determined “yes, Lord” on your lips? Take a moment and surrender to him as we get started.

After a time of surrender, take a minute and pray to acknowledge God’s presence and to dedicate this time to the Lord asking what He wants to teach you.
