The call to “go” doesn’t always mean moving overseas, though it certainly can! It also means crossing the street to befriend a neighbor, coworker, or student from another country or culture in your own community.

HERE ARE A COUPLE IDEAS TO CULTIVATE THIS HABIT:

Connect with a Missions Advisor: Talk through your personal journey and possible next steps by connecting with a Missions Advisor through Global Frontier Missions (gogfm.org/coaching).

Local Outreach: Identify a people group, international student group, or ethnic community near you that is currently unreached or underserved by local churches. Commit to consistently and intentionally befriending someone from that group.

Explore Short-Term Missions: Sign up for a short-term trip (even one weekend) to taste what full-time missions is like and learn more about a specific culture or people group.
