Conclusion

Well done. You’ve walked your group through five weeks of discovering God’s heart, His mission, and their role in it. That in itself is no small thing. Thank you for saying “yes” to leading — your obedience has created space for others to encounter God’s vision for the nations.

As you finish this journey with your group, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Celebrate

Mark the moment. Celebrate the steps your participants have taken — from their first “I WILL” statement to their final commitments. Consider ending with a time of testimonies, a commissioning prayer, or even something as simple as sharing a meal together.

Commission

Remind participants this is not the end, but the beginning. Encourage them with Jesus’ words in John 20:21–22:

“As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

The Spirit who started this work in them will also empower them to continue.

Continue

Follow up in the weeks ahead. A simple check-in — a call, a text, or a coffee — can help keep participants living out their commitments. Encourage them to take next steps:

Lead their own Step In Study.

Connect with a Missions Advisor.

Keep practicing the five habits (Pray, Welcome, Send, Go, Mobilize).

And remember: this study wasn’t just for your participants. God has been shaping you as a facilitator, too. Carry forward what He’s done in you.

You’ve helped others take their first steps into God’s mission. Now keep stepping with them, and keep stepping into His story yourself.
